Emmanuel Pines Retreat Center
Welcome to our new retreat location!
Emmanuel Pines is located at 3000 Spence Springs Rd, Prescott AZ.
Bordered by thousands of acres of state forest, at an elevation of 5,600 ft, Emmanuel Pines Camp offers miles of hiking trails both on and adjacent to the camp. Our retreat site is near overlooks with sweeping views across the entire Verde Valley to the red rocks of Sedona and the San Francisco Peaks of Flagstaff.
Take a walk by the stream, stroll through the forest, sit by the park, or just relax. You’ll experience great food, comfy accommodations, tons of nature to explore, a wide variety of activities, and a friendly and competent staff.
We have reserved two large lodges: Pine Lodge and Thumb Butte Lodge. Each bunk room sleeps between 4 and 8 guests. Lodge restrooms are large with multiple sinks and private showers. Each lodge has an interior fireplace in a spacious common room; kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and sink.
There is also open space to set up your tent. Campers can use the bathrooms and shower facilities in either of our reserved lodges. In the event of heavy rain, we can usually find space for you indoors.
Prescott is located just under two hours north of Phoenix, in the heart of the Prescott National Forest. Emmanuel Pines camp is less than 20 minutes from Downtown, where you stop for a bite on Sunday after the retreat, or pop into one of its many galleries and shops on the square.
Weather:
In September when it’s 105 degrees in Phoenix, it’s typically about 75 to 80 degrees in Prescott. Late night temperatures are usually a comfortable 50 to 60 degrees. Even so, weather in Northern Arizona is unpredictable. So plan for rain, even though there might not be any.
Hotels:
In the event you would prefer the comforts of a hotel or bed & breakfast, there are many in the Prescott area for you to choose from.
