In the event you would prefer the comforts of a hotel or bed & breakfast, there are many in the area for you to choose from. The accommodations in Jerome are only 10 to 15 minutes from camp, and Jerome is an international tourist attraction at 5000 ft on the mountain. The hotels in Sedona, Prescott, Prescott Valley or Camp Verde are about 25 to 45 minutes from camp. Here is a list of the hotels in Jerome along with their contact information.
The camp site is 121 acres of forest and meadow, surrounded by the Prescott National Forest, at an elevation of 7,600 ft. Our retreat site is near overlooks with sweeping views across the entire Verde Valley to the red rocks of Sedona and the San Francisco Peaks of Flagstaff.
The camp has three large lodges and six cabins. Each lodge has six bedrooms, each with five beds (two bunk beds and a single twin bed). Lodge restrooms are large with multiple sinks and private showers. Each lodge has an interior fireplace in a spacious common room; kitchenette with refrigerator, freezer, and sink; and a covered porch that runs the width of the cabin.
Rustic cabins have two bunk beds and an area to store personal items. There are no bathrooms inside the cabins, so you’ll walk a bit to one of the lodges to use those facilities.
On-site tent camping: There are many areas to set up your tent for close neighbor socializing or complete privacy. Campers can use the bathrooms and shower facilities in any of the lodges. In the event of heavy rain, we can usually find space for you in the lodges or a rustic cabin.
On-site RV Camping: We have 8 pull-through RV spaces for members who wish to bring their RV’s. Each site has water, electricity and a picnic table. Campers can use the bathrooms and shower facilities in any of the lodges. There is a community fire ring in the area for all to enjoy. On your way out of the RV camp area there is a dump station. Here you can dump your gray and black water waste.
